London Walking Group 3, which was set up in June 2011, explores London on the third Thursday of each month (excluding December and January). Since it’s inception there have been a wide variety of walks from the City to the suburbs.

At a coffee morning in January 2026 members of the group chose a month during the coming year when they would like to lead a walk and, if possible, select an area. Generally, walks are lead by a couple of people who decide the route, research interesting facts about the area, find a suitable lunch venue and the all important coffee stop.

Currently we travel from Leatherhead, having car-shared to the station. Since Covid, most of our travel within London has been by bus.

We are a relaxed friendly group, comprising couples and singles. If anyone would like to join us, we would welcome one or two new members.
